Solar Proposals

A solar proposal built on your actual consumption data

Generic solar proposals are sized on estimates. Orijtech Energy builds solar feasibility assessments from your real load profile — so the system size, generation forecast, and payback calculation are accurate.

Payback accuracy: Generic proposals carry ±3–5 year uncertainty. Data-driven proposals narrow this to ±6–12 months.
The Problem with Generic Proposals

Most solar proposals are based on estimates

A vendor who does not have access to your sub-meter data will estimate your load profile from your monthly bill total and a generic assumption about when you consume electricity. This leads to systems that are undersized during peak production periods or oversized relative to the loads that can realistically be offset.

The result is a proposal that looks compelling on paper but does not deliver the projected savings — and an investment case that does not survive independent review.

Generic proposal

  • Based on monthly bill average
  • Assumed load profile
  • No demand data
  • Payback ± 3–5 years

Orijtech proposal

  • Based on actual 15-min interval data
  • Verified daytime load profile
  • Peak demand confirmed
  • Payback ± 6–12 months
What We Deliver

A bankable solar feasibility assessment

System sizing

Panel capacity, inverter specification, and battery storage recommendation based on your daytime load profile and available roof or ground area.

Financial modelling

Year-by-year generation forecast, bill offset calculation, payback period, and net present value — built from your actual consumption data.

Proposal document

A professional document suitable for presentation to a board, bank, or potential solar installer — including assumptions, data sources, and sensitivity analysis.

Prerequisites

What we need before producing your proposal

To produce an accurate proposal, we need interval-level consumption data from your facility. If you do not yet have sub-metering, we install a temporary logger for 2–4 weeks before producing the assessment.

  • At minimum, 30 days of interval consumption data from your main incomer

  • Site plan or roof plan showing available installation area

  • Recent UEDCL bills (6–12 months) for tariff and demand charge analysis

  • Details of any planned changes to facility load (new equipment, additional shifts)

Already have monitoring in place?

If your facility is already on the Orijtech monitoring platform, we can produce a solar feasibility assessment using your existing data — no additional data collection required.
